HUMANS
On the brink of extinction
As opposed to the idea of progress, Work in Regress is a section that underlines the immediate need of letting go of the myth of progress as the basic or root-story of human civilization, that faces unprecedented crises.
In order to retell the story of humanity, anthropocentric goals that destroy the environment at the cost of extinction and unhappiness (rather emptiness of living and consuming) , have to be re-calibrated.
The idea of progress and functionalism have been hunting existence and continue to do it for too long: technological development seen as an existential savior, lack of empathy and cooperation as a species and inter-species and lack of acknowledge of the "spiritual" unseen forces governing over the functional 3D reality, are symptoms of a boat floating without direction, without sails.
On an (artistic) institutional level, Work in Regress proposes art pieces that do not and can not find their place within galleries, museums or other "art designated" spaces. All the works might pop-up - as a lance of mycelial root networks in the forest - in public spaces or intimate spaces (rooms, living rooms, garages), mainly as guerrilla unwanted art forms.
However, regress is not to be seen as "coming back" to something, but rather as rooting into a fertile soil that has barely been explored without the post-colonial idea of extraction or exploitation.

Brave choice! Sometimes (in)correct is not an option as voting is rarely consensus.
Meanwhile you have just been exposed to all the options. Ad-free democracy?
Welcome to techno-colonialism. Happy past-future!
Scroll for 30 seconds in an empty space
You are scrolling so much, overloading your brain with information you might not need. Plenty to look at, to keep you entertained < and the more you scroll, the more your mind wonders / your spirit is de-focusing.
Continuously. Repeatedly. Looping in an endless broken circle.
Why not taking the time to scroll for hours in an empty space? On a favourite texture? How does it feel? What ideas are getting born in this space in between?
